Bullying is when someone keeps doing or saying things to have power over another person.

Some of the ways they bully other people are: calling them names, saying or writing nasty things about them, leaving them out of activities, not talking to them, threatening them, making them feel uncomfortable or scared, taking or damaging their things, hitting or kicking them, or making them do things they don't want to do.

Are you being bullied? Do you know someone who is being bullied? If you want to talk about it, Kidsline is here to listen.

For more info on bullying, check out http://www.police.govt.nz/service/yes/nobully/whats_bullying.html

Sometimes bullying happens online too - or on your phone! If you want to know more about that, see http://www.cyberbullying.org.nz/youngpeople/

You can also call Kidsline and talk about what's going on. We're here to help.
